Installing Gear is incredibly simple and takes just a few minutes.
- Install the provided mounting bracket onto the window frame closest to your shade’s chain or cord using either screws or double-sided adhesive tape (both come included).
- Loop the shade's chain or cord around Gear’s sprocket and snap the device onto the mounting bracket.
- Connect the solar power module to the main body of Gear before attaching it to your window - optional cable clips are provided for a clean look. We recommend placing the solar power module high up to be as discreet as possible.
