How does the LeadFuze prospecting tool work with Google?
Last updated about 8 years ago
The LeadFuze prospecting tool lets you create advanced Boolean search using Google to query public LinkedIn data. From your LeadFuze dashboard you can access the prospecting tool by going to Start Prospecting.
An Example Search
The prospecting tool's form builder lets you add details about your target market such as the role of the decision-maker you're targeting, their industry, their location, and any additional keywords you want to include.
Because the prospecting tool works with Google, you can use Boolean search operators to create highly-targeted searches. For example, in the search below we are targeting owners of digital marketing agencies in the Greater Chicago area. We are looking for prospects with either marketing or digital marketing in their profile and the word agency. The keyword string looks like this: ("marketing" OR "digital marketing") AND "agency"
When you click "Search for Prospects" it opens a Google search result. Based on the example below, LeadFuze creates a Google search string that looks like this:
("Owner" OR "Founder" OR "CEO" OR "Chief Executive Officer" OR "Founder & CEO" OR "Partner") -assistant -intern -secretary ("Marketing and Advertising" OR "Marketing") ("marketing" OR "digital marketing") AND "agency" "Greater Chicago Area" site:linkedin.com/in/ OR site:linkedin.com/pub/ -site:linkedin.com/pub/dir/ -site:ca.linkedin.com
The prospecting tool provides several variations of titles for the Role/Function and adds any keywords or location details you've included using Boolean search syntax. Learn more about advanced Boolean search.
