Creating a Custom Report Template

If your best source of data for your products comes from a resource other than Amazon, you will likely need to create a custom report template to get your SKUs uploaded into Zentail in bulk.

A Custom Report Template varies depending on the source of your product data and should serve as a guideline for required attributes that should be filled out.  Now, most "custom" reports will be client specific and so if there are fields you wish to add go ahead and add in the corresponding Zentail attribute. If you are unsure of the Zentail attribute, reach out to a Zentail specialist to determine what the "Zentail Attribute" is for that field.

You may want to use an export of your eBay Catalog, Shopify Catalog, BigCommerce Catalog, Walmart Catalog or Magento Catalog to fill the following information in (Step 3).

How to Create a Custom Report Template/Standard Template

  1. Using our Import Feature, create a template with the following attributes:
    • SKU, Title, UPC/EAN/ISBN/GTIN, Title, Description, Sales price, Primary Image URL, Image Url [Up to 8], Tags, [Warehouse Name] Quantity, MSRP, Package Weight (Lbs)
  2. Select the Download Report bubble
  3. Export this template with "Download Template Only" Checked

  4. Enter the information into the corresponding fields in this CSV file*. 
  5. Re-upload this file into Zentail on the import page
  • Notes
    • Description: You can enter HTML to format the description
    • Sales Price/MSRP: Numbers only, do not add currency symbols
    • Image URL: You can have up to 8 "Image URL" fields, but only 1 "Primary Image URL"
    • Tags: Keywords that you can enter "comma separated" 
    • Package Weight: Numbers only, do not add units
    • Warehouse Quantity: Only Add Merchant Fulfilled Inventory
*Feel free to copy and paste the corresponding information from a channel catalog export (i.e. eBay catalog export)  into the corresponding fields in this template
