One of the greatest things about Zentail is that you don't have to create the same SKU 5 different time to list it on 5 different marketplace. You can create your SKUs here in Zentail and they'll be ready to sell on each marketplace with which you are integrated! We have a number of ways to create SKUs depending on what you need to do. For example, if you have a ton of SKUs to add, you may want to use our import data feature. This FAQ will review the different ways to create a new SKU in Zentail. Creating one SKU through the User Interface
Navigate to the Catalog page by clicking "Catalog" on the top menu
Click the 'pencil' circle on the bottom right of the page
Enter at least the SKU and fill in any additional fields you can at this point. Note: new SKU values are immutable -- they cannot be changed once they are created but they can be archived if you'd like to use a different SKU value for a given product.
Click the 'CREATE' button to create the SKU.

Continue editing if you have more data for the SKU
Once you've clicked the 'CREATE' button, the SKU will automatically open in your Catalog and be available for editing. If you need to edit the SKU later, go to your Catalog page and search for the SKU you just created.
Select the blue EDIT button
You can go through the different tabs (General Info, Price & Availability, Category & Description, Media) and add/edit any information. You should at least complete the required attributes based on the "Critical Issues" displayed in the "Channels" section of the left sidebar (scroll down the left sidebar). You can click most of the critical issues which will take you to the specific field that needs attention.
Make sure you select the blue check mark on the bottom right to save your changes!
Creating new SKUs in Bulk
If you would like to process a bulk import of new SKUs via CSV upload, please use our Import / Export feature. Simply include the headers: SKU, Title, UPC/ASIN/EAN, Quantity, BulletPoint1 (through 5 if necessary), Description
These columns and additional fields can be added later on as well
The above fields are generally the ones most commonly required by marketplaces - you may not need all or you may need more. We will be happy to assist you during the process
