How do I add Image Description (ALT text) for SEO?

In order to optimize your listings for search engines, it's important to provide an Image Description (aka "ALT text") for each of your images. Here's how:

  1. Click on your SKU in your Zentail catalog
  2. Click on the Media section => Click the pencil icon =>Enter your preferred alt text (should be no longer than 100 characters)

  3. Click CLOSE and the check circle icon to save your work.
This feature currently works for the following channels:
  • Bigcommerce
  • Shopify
Ability to add Image Description will soon be added to the Import Data page.
