Resolve your eBay Critical Issues

Last updated about 7 years ago

In order to list a SKU to a marketplace, you need to resolve your Critical Issues. Each channel is a little different and has some special requirements. Some requirements are common for all marketplaces, like the necessity to have a title and price. Below are a few ebay-centric critical issues and how you can resolve them.

First, you'll want to make sure you're looking in the right spot- Please go to your Catalog page and open the ebay filter on the left side of the page. Then, select the Not Listable filter. This will show all SKU's that have some sort of critical issue that prevents it from getting listed to ebay.
For many Critical Issues, simply clicking on the message will open the Edit field and direct you to the missing information. For example, if you click on the "All ebay products must have a Description" message, you will be directed to the Product Description field within the SKU.

Please refer to the eBay category FAQ in regards to the "All eBay products must have an eBay Category" message.
  • In many cases, this error shows up when the SKU does not have a SMART Type - or is listed as "Default".  Please assign a SMART Type, or Amazon item type, and if the issue persists, use the eBay category FAQ.
