What do the errors on Jet's internal reports mean?

Last updated over 7 years ago

Periodically we receive internal reports from Jet to help you optimize your listings and correct issues that are preventing your SKUs from being listed. Here's our current interpretation of the most common errors:

Missing Category

Means the Jet Browse Node ID is either missing or not a child category

Missing Grouping

Jet knows (by checking Amazon's ASIN) that this SKU should be associated with a product group. Please create or edit your product group.

Missing Identifiers

A UPC or ASIN is missing or incorrect. You might be sending "does not apply", no value at all, or an invalid value.

Price Match Fail

The price on Amazon is more competitive so they are not going to advertise the SKU

Multi-Pack Failure: Price Match Failed

Jet thinks the product is a multipack but it is not configured in Zentail as a Kit SKU or a Multipack SKU

Identifier Match Fail

Jet thinks the UPC doesn't match the ASIN, Brand or MPN.

Negative Margin or Auto Killed for Pricing

means the item is currently too cheap (item price) relative to shipping cost. As a result, if Jet gives free shipping to a new customer, they will not be able to earn high enough commission to cover their cost for the order (since they will still pay you item price + shipping price). In your Jet Partner Portal click the Fulfillment option and then the gear icon next to each of your "Fulfillment Nodes" and go through your shipping prices to make sure it's not excessively high.
