You may be in a position to take advantage of our SKU override feature for Walmart. This feature allows you to override a SKU value on your Walmart based on your UPC. Remember- Walmart uses the UPC as a unique identifier, so you cannot have multiple SKUs published using the same UPC.
Attempting to list multiple SKUs with the same UPC often results in an error. This error occurs when you are trying to (or Walmart thinks you are trying to) list a SKU that's a duplicate of a SKU already listed to Walmart. Walmart generally refers to your UPC or EAN as its product ID. So, it is likely that you have the same UPC/EAN on multiple SKU's. If you've set one of these SKUs to list on Walmart in the past and are trying to list a different SKU with that UPC, you will likely experience this error. "Error Message: Unable to complete the product data setup process. Unable to override sku because there exists another source product from the same seller/org id." To determine if this is the case, you can use the search tool on your Catalog page to search for a given UPC / EAN. It is best to make sure you are in the 'All' tab of your Catalog. If you have multiple results for one UPC/EAN, you should determine if you need to change one of the SKUs' UPC / EAN or understand that you won't be able to list it.
To resolve the error, you can enable SKU override on a specific SKU. Here's how:
Go to the SKU on your catalog page
Scroll down on the side bar and find the Walmart card -> click Advanced Options
Find the toggle shown below and make sure it's set to "Send SKU Update," which tells Walmart to use the SKU value Zentail is sending them.
***Note: The Walmart SKU Override check box will be removed from your Walmart Integrations settings. It is now under Walmart Advanced Options.
