Short Description

Walmart has a "Short Description" field that it displays to shoppers. This is different from the normal description you have in that it is only 1,000 characters long.
To allow you to take full advantage of their ranking system, we've created a Short Description field directly in Zentail. You can add your short description either:

- Through the UI
- Through an import
Adding Short Description through the User Interface
- On your Catalog page, select the SKU you would like to add/edit the Short Description
- Select "EDIT"
- Click on the "Category & Description" tab (if this is in a product group, go to Product Group Attributes and then Category & Description).
- Enter your text in the Short Description field, directly beneath your normal Product Description field.
Adding Short Description through an import
- Create a custom template that includes the Short Description field (more details on creating templates here)
- Add in the appropriate column in you .csv file
- Upload the .csv file following our import data instructions
